Bauhaus Style

The name of an influential art and design movement that began in 1919 in the city of Weimar, Germany, by architect Walter Gropius (1883–1969). The Bauhaus style is characterized by basic geometric shapes (square, circle, triangle, straight lines) with primary colors (blue, red, yellow), asymmetry, and industrial materials.

The Bauhaus style for wall & floor design can be achieved with ready-made printed patterns on ceramic/porcelain tiles available in collections from manufacturers.
