Large-Format Porcelain - The New Interior Design Trend

More than just for tiling or decoration, large-format porcelain slabs are now a perfect solution for designing architectural spaces and interior surfaces.

New production technology allows manufacturers to produce diverse porcelain sizes, ranging from 120x240cm, 100x300cm, or up to 120x320cm, equivalent to the traditional dimensions of natural stone or quartz slabs.

The main difference compared to traditional stone products is that with thicknesses of only 3mm, 5.6mm, 10mm, or 12mm, porcelain slabs can be used not only for walls and floors but also for interior surfaces: dining tables, kitchen countertops, kitchen backsplashes, or cabinet facades without being constrained by thickness or weight.

The most important distinction is perhaps that beyond diverse natural stone patterns, porcelain slabs are not limited by surface design and can feature effects suitable for many different design styles, such as decorative concrete effects, oxidized steel in various color versions, terrazzo, or a wide array of color palettes, offering customers many choices for design and creativity.

The only point to note is that transportation and straight or custom-shaped cutting require specific expertise and experience. As a pioneer in new materials, SaigonCasa has invested in a production system to precisely cut, edge-process according to all customer designs, and safely pack and deliver products: dining tabletops, kitchen island tops, kitchen backsplashes, vanity tops, porcelain sinks, bathtubs, elevator facades, or complex designs assembled from multiple pieces with varying colors.
